Spring is coming up, and during our Lineapelle fair research for summer 20 we did an intense research on shoes and bags for the summer season.
After the tough season 2018 for the shoe industry in Italy, we saw a lot of optimistic and fresh designs. To be honest Milan lost some magic in the last years if it comes to inspirations in retail.
OUR beloved Excelsior concept department store has closed down…..and even in the most trendy areas in the golden triangle more and more mass market brands are popping up. But there is still much inspiration to see.
In the high fashion section there is a move towards more elegant shoes and hells. But the sneaker is still omnipresent in some key stores. Some brand focus on SNEAKERS only for the window decorations as other mix sporty and female styles.
Lightness and shimmer are a key signal for female shoes.
Bags stay bold but classic in the design language.
