SOME UPDATES FROM THE LINEAPELLE FAIR AND MILANO TREND RESEARCH.
The 101st edition of Lineapelle (February 21-23) has confirmed that the sourcing fair has returned to its old strength. Lineapelle’s 1,161 exhibitors will present their 2024 spring-summer collections.The fair starts under the motto „Let tomorrow bloom“.
The focus was mainly on color and glittery effects as well as metallics.
Since interest in bright colors as well as imaginative surfaces was extremely strong.Fresh, often iridescent pastels, signal colors and summery prints were in high demand by all buyers.
It looks set to be a season of contrasts. Natural leather treatments, including vintage effects, provided much-needed reassurance with woven and knitted materials.
The tension is between rebellion and sparkling decorated extravagance.
Joie de vivre and vital positive energy are just the right signal for the season Spring/ Summer 2024.

After very intensive research and fascinating collections has been confirmed:
Micam as well as Mipel in Milan have returned to their old strength. The mood was positive despite the many uncertainties that are currently affecting the industry. It was also to be seen in Milan that BLACK is becoming strong. In addition to the dark tones and the new classic in loafers and very pointed flat bottoms is also colored to see. Especially the viola tones, blue metallics and also green and red tones. For bags, the colorfulness is much higher. Accent colors were not only in the sneaker area an important theme to set accents that are so important.
