We had the honour of conducting an evauation of the Ethiopian Leather Goods Industry in Addis Abbaba. More than 16 companies from the field of bag manufacturing, shoe production, tanneries. The meeting with ELIA, the Ethiopian Leather Goods Association and other institutions completed this short term mission of 8 days.
We are touched by the creative female power and the possibilities of the industry. Especially the extremely soft and at the same time extremely durable highland sheepskin has caught our attention. Such a leather quality is unique in the world. As design experts and fashion consulting agency we believe that the potential of the Ethiopian leather goods industry has potential.
