Milano store Updates:
The shops in the Milan city centre were well frequented, and very often offered a clear upgrade in the luxury brand segment. A Jil Sander leather bag in A-3 format for €2,600, a Prada buckle bag with belt for €4,300, a summery woollen shirt jacket for €3,900 – the air is slowly getting thinner, even for top customers.
Much has already been written about the galloping upward price structure, but houses like Rinascente seem to be opening up even further to the luxury segment. Instead of the MM6 collection, the main Margiela line can now be seen, so here too it is more of an upgrade than a downgrade.
There is a great opportunity in the air for contemporary brands and providers of affordable luxury and designer brands. If the quality and the story of the brands is right, more and more customers will prefer to buy two pairs of shoes from a fashionable brand in the middle segment rather than a high-luxury product.
The END store was once again fuller than the main shop in London. Italy loves and appreciates the curated offer even more than the British.

The colours from ModEurop (under our creative direction from nextguruNow) have been more than confirmed in terms of signal effect and freshness.
In addition to yellow and aqua tones and rose, the olive and soft natural tones were also particularly important. The highlight for us is an extremely modern pull-up leather from Siamca Group that looks wonderfully chic with a hint of lacquer.
Woven aspects as well as crafted details will become even more important. We have discussed the craftsmanship in various presentations. It was more than celebrated by the tanners at the Lineapelle: WOW!!!
A 7 per cent increase in visitors demonstrates the importance of the trade fair in the global competition.
